The pandemic abruptly changed the way we did things: how we interacted and communicated, how we held meetings, how we met and married, how we taught and learned... how we lived...
We lived remotely, but the past two years was not "virtually" disruptive. It marked a time of real change: from the isolating lockdowns to the masked re-openings - upsetting for many people.
I lost my son during the pandemic. October - 2021. He was a veteran. 24 years old.
I was devastated beyond words. His death was petrifying, yet it gave me a deeper appreciation for true love, human relationships, real connections, and the immeasurable value of life, health & wellness. Although the sun has set upon his service to our country and also upon his life, I honor his legacy of service as a soldier and a civilian, by educating others on ways to improve their life, health, and wellness - all with the hope that no family experiences the crushing, disempowering, disconnecting, disruptive nature of "health turned into sickness" trauma, without an awareness of people, plans, tools, and resources than can offset, divert, mitigate, or eliminate various negative aspects of disruptive change. Many healthy people remind me of my son: they see nothing but sunshine and blue skies ahead... but one's health can change with life-altering ramifications, significantly increasing the risk of mental, emotional, and financial devastation. The aggregate costs are incalculable.
